Matts and knot policy
Since we always consider the comfort of the pet, it is our policy that under no condition are any pets hurt in any way, all pets with matts or knots in the coat have to be clipped short. Matts diminish blood flow to the skin and consequently skin deterioration can occur if the matts are allowed to stay in the coat over long periods of time. Attempting to brush out large matts does cause pain and bruising. Small matts can be removed using a slicing technique so that the hair looks like there was no matts there at all.

Booking times
We try and stick to a booking time slot for each dog and cat so that they are not waiting around for as long as need be, we find this decreases their stress, if left for long periods of time the pets tend to get over their visit and are really keen to see mum and dad again. So we ask that you pick up your much loved pets as soon as they are ready.

Cancellations
Because we book our visitors in on a time slot, if you are not able to make your appointment, we would really appreciate you contacting us as soon as possible so that we can fill your allocated time slot. Just helps our business to run much more smoothly. Its disappointing when a pet is booked in and does not turn up, it means we sit around waiting for the next appointment to arrive. Makes paying our bills difficult.
